Backlash – Live:
All of the songs below were recorded live at a rehearsal session, with a GoPro camera on the first take; no re-recording of backup vocals, guitar parts, or solos, no overdubbing, and without the use of separate tracks that were mixed down later.
Any band can dive into the studio and crank out songs that sound fantastic but that's not how we want to represent ourselves. A live performance band should have live recordings available to showcase how good they are live.
Admittedly, the recordings below may not be a "perfect mix". We weren't concerned with getting a perfect mix. We were more concerned with delivering examples of what we really sound like live. We ain't skeerd to play any song on our songlist, bare bones. But, we do have our own soundman that comes with the band and knows all of our songs. He is just as talented as the rest of us and will get the "perfect mix" live.
What you see is what you get. Backlash isn't a garage band with random gear and players stumbling around trying to look cool. Backlash shows come with all the fixins - choreographed staging, soundman, lightman, our own pro-level In-Ear Monitor gear, backdrop curtain, multi-level stage risers, smoke, flashpots, etc. When we show up to play your venue, we really bring it.
